Family of 6(!) update

Well, life is busy around here these days and it doesnt look like slowing down anytime soon! Four girls – it still hasnt sunk in that we have four girls!

The girls are very much in love with their new baby sister and are keen to help out in any way possible. Pippa really doesnt cry very much, but when she does they ask “what is Pippa trying to tell us”. She has been a dream baby – for those interested in stats she is feeding every four hour, just like her biggest sister did. Pippa has just come out in her 3 week pimples, again just like her biggest sister!

The amount of photos that we have taken is insane. So many great shots Im thinking of turning my lounge room into a photo display room! Here are some from the past week or so.

Going for a swim at the Great Grandparents house…

…is a great way to spend the late afternoon of a hot Summer’s day.
Maisie and Talia have both grown so much in confidence over the past couple of months. They were both very hesitant hoping into the pool at the beginning of Summer. Now they are both confident enough to jump into the pool unassisted and swim from one side of the pool to the other (although Talia needs a bit of push usually).

Crayola Sidewalk Paint

Today we got stuck into the new paint that I bought on sale the other week. Its called Crayola Sidewalk Paint and it is designed for use on concrete or asphalt sidewalks and driveways. The girls had a great time painting on the ground with it:

Alice was asleep, so she missed out on the painting fun, but she made up for it at breakfast time by “painting” with her yogurt…

2.5 year old CHEESE
Tally is our beautiful, goofy, sensitive, clumsy middle child who is very emotional and explores her little world through all of her senses. She doesnt like loud noises much at all, she loves going to bed smelling her smelly old big bird, she doesnt like the touch of certain things on her skin (like the tags on shirts) and she can throw a tanty with the best of them.
Talia the Artist
She loves her sisters with all of her heart – she likes to copy everything that her big sister does, and likes to make her little sister laugh. We have noticed that she really enjoys being with other little babies, esp when Ewan came to visit.
Summer time fun
Baby Ewan and Tal
Being able to watch her as she develops her speech and language is such an amazing thing to enjoy! She loves making up little games and singing songs. She is speaking so well – putting whole sentences together and clearly pronouncing her words.

Wii Fit
She is always on the go – but she always needs her sleep. Its not uncommon for her to ask to go to bed with her “happy” and her big bird. She is very kissy and cuddly – happy to give kisses to everyone she loves.
