Moo is now providing us with plenty of entertainment, and most of this comes when we go in to her room to get her out of bed. These photos show the many different ways that I have found her in her cot today.

Food glorious food
Maisie had her first taste of solid food today – organic rice ceral. As yummy as that sounds, it looked and tasted pretty wrong. Its good to know that the reason for starting babies on foods such as this is so that they get used to the feel and texture of foods and how to swallow it before they actually need it for growing strong and healthy and liking the taste.
Day 1 – first taste with Mum
Day 2 – getting the hang of it
Day 3 – enjoying dinner with Dad
Maisie and I flew to Albury last week for an extra long weekend. We left our house on Friday morning and caught the train into the airport with Cade. He then went on to work while we navigated our way up to the Regional Express gates.
The flight was great, Maisie was in her Bjorn, so I had to take her out of it to get strapped in, but once we were back up in the air I put her back in it and she slept the whole way. We were met by Aunty Kate at the airport. We had a very busy weekend – the first stop was to Nanny Jills work! Then we were out and about everywhere. We had breakfast down the street with Stacey, and lunch at Great Grandma Marys and also at Great Aunty Jennys and then dinner at Poppy Phils house and also at Great Uncle Paul & Great Aunty Vickis house.
We flew back to Sydney on Wednesday evening and Cade came to pick us up from the airport in the car. It was a great time away for the Whitbourn Girls and it was an adventure to be doing it by ourselves, but we were both glad to be back home.
